I’ve though that in this post I’ll focus on the entry point – the “Reset” handler – how it works and what it does. However I’ve noticed some very interesting looking strings in previous post that are worth investigating. Let’s quickly check them out!

As promised, in this post we are going to start tearing down the official firmware. We will briefly see what’s in on our arsenal and start disassembling the image. It will be a bumpy ride from the beginning but fear not!

I was a really happy Mi Band 3 user for more than a year. What has changed? One of my family members bought a fully-blown smartwatch – and that’s fine, as I don’t need all the bells and whistles. But what really irks me, is the fact that he can develop his own apps for it. Don’t get me wrong – I still love my watch, its simplicity, how the battery lasts long enough, the lack of mic, etc. All I want to do is to add some features to it (e.g. music controls), so let’s make this happen!
